The Case for Reality

(Before It Slips Away)

Some will say Real Life is TOO real. That can be true, but it's also a gift. And it's under threat. If we don’t find ways to prove reality, the future looks bleak. The concept of Truth will dissolve until eventually, everything is a hologram. Your eyes: just lenses for curated illusions, a pipeline for programming.

Look, we’re not anti-technology. AI has its proper uses. But we can all see humans are getting lost in the shuffle. It seems either machines will destroy us all, or we’ll become them. Not everyone is so thrilled about living as a subscription-based cyborg.

The real danger? You won’t know what to trust. Your 50 online “friends”? Bots with an agenda. That viral video--Deepfake. Oh look, an email from “mom” ...or is it a marketing nudge from her avatar?

When your senses can't be trusted, what do you have left? We think the answer is simple: keep a firm grip reality while we can.

You should be able to look down at what you’re wearing and know, “This exists. I exist.” That’s the idea behind AIn’t. We’re not fighting to stop the robots. We’re building toward a world where humans and machines coexist in Real Life.

In this new future, our kids will sing Kumbaya around the campfire IRL knowing these Good Times are real. They’ll perform amazing skills onstage without suspicion of faking it for social media. Maybe they’ll enjoy the magic of analog alongside digital.

We believe free will and peace flow from Truth. If we can hang on to Truth and Reality, there’s a bright future ahead.

Keep it Real. Stay AIn’t.
